Lorena Remuzgo is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Economics of the University of Cantabria. She was visiting scholar at the Department of Environmental Economics at the IVM Institute for Environmental Studies (VU University Amsterdam).
Her research interest includes environmental economics, inequality analysis and risk management. Specifically, the objective of her PhD is to analyze the inequality of the distribution of atmospheric emissions using the family of generalized entropy measures. She has published articles in international journals such as Review of Income and Wealth, Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications and Environmental Science & Policy.
Dr. Remuzgo has participated in various research projects funded by the Spanish Government. She obtained her PhD degree in Economics from University of Cantabria in 2017 for her thesis on the analysis of the inequality in the distribution of atmospheric emissions using the family of generalised entropy measures. Also, she holds a bahelor's degree in Economics from University of Cantabria and a master's in Economics from University of the Baque Country, University of Cantabria and University of Oviedo.
