Luis A. Arteaga is a PhD student at the Department of Economics of the University of Cantabria. He was visiting scholar at the Department of Economics at the University Carlos III (Madrid) under the supervision of the Professor Miguel Delgado.
His main research interest are the maximum likelihood techniques applied to the nonparametric and semiparametric panel data estimation. Furthermore, he is currently working in contrasts for the detection of changing parameters. He has presented his results in several national and international meetings.
In addition, he has participated in a research project funded by the Spanish Government and he has been benefited from a predoctoral research grant awarded by the Ministry of Education. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from University of Cantabria and a master’s in Economics from University of the Basque Country, University of Cantabria, and University of Oviedo.
