The Professor Oliver Linton from the University of Cambridge visits the University of Cantabria

Oliver Linton, Professor of Econometrics at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Cambridge, is visiting the University of Cantabria from July 18th to August 15th. Professor Linton is one of the world’s leading specialists in econometrics and empirical finance.

During his stay, Linton held a meeting with the rector of the UC, Angel Pazos; The Vice-Rector for Research and Knowledge Transfer, Javier León, and the Professor of the University of Cantabria, Juan M. Rodríguez-Poo.

Oliver Linton is the principal investigator of the SANFI research project, entitled “New methods for the empirical analysis of financial markets” and coordinated by Professor Juan M. Rodríguez-Poo, one of the three SANFI projects funded by Santander Universities.
